OH MAN. I've been a huge fan of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series for a long time. When I heard they were making the first portion of the (very long) story into a miniseries, I had a lot of reservations. The more I heard about it, the better it sounded. The director directed Spiderman the movie, and is a huge fan of the books.. as well as a friend of Terry's. This news gave me much hope!

Regardless, I decided I wasn't going to fangirl-geek out over it, because it wouldn't live up to my expectations, somehow. Well, it's being released November 1st, and there's a website!! (Legend of the Seeker) There's also three promos up now, and I downloaded them. OH MAN. I'm so pumped. This looks SO GOOD. Kahlan's dress is awesome (an important item), the sword is sexy, and I really think the effects aren't going to be cheesy. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *bounces around in circles, very happy* :D :D :D :D

So, I decided to start a blog. LiveJournal is just too.. segmented. You have your communities, and you have your friends list: that's it. I dunno, blogs seem so much more open to me. Either way, here's my blog. I'll be writing all kinds of lovely stuff in it; at least, they'll be lovely in my opinion. >_>

Off to customize this sucker, because the default layouts are icky. *wave*
